Statistics Canada says manufacturing sales flat at $72.3 billion in November

Statistics Canada says manufacturing gross sales had been flat at $72.3 billion in November.
The end result got here as gross sales within the motorcar business rose 12.7 per cent to $3.9 billion in November, because the company says manufacturing at a number of meeting crops in Canada ramped up.
Sales within the fabricated metallic product business gained 2.7 per cent to hit $4.5 billion in November, whereas gross sales within the main metallic business rose 1.7 per cent to $5.7 billion.
Meanwhile, chemical business gross sales fell 4.4 per cent to $5.8 billion in November, as pesticide, fertilizer and different agricultural chemical business gross sales fell 34.7 per cent.
Sales within the petroleum and coal product business fell 2.1 per cent to $10.3 billion.
In quantity phrases, general gross sales edged up 0.1 per cent in November.
