Nestle Canada to wind down frozen meals and pizza business including Delissio

Nestle Canada says it’s winding down its frozen meals and pizza business in Canada over the following six months.

The 4 manufacturers that may not be offered within the freezer aisle at Canadian grocery shops are Delissio, Stouffer’s, Lean Cuisine and Life Cuisine.

The firm says it’s specializing in classes that help long-term business progress, together with confectionary, espresso, ice cream, premium water and pet meals.

Nestle Canada president and CEO John Carmichael says this resolution will enable the corporate to additional put money into the classes it is prioritizing.

The firm doesn’t manufacture these merchandise in Canada, so no manufacturing services in Canada can be affected.

Nestle says it would work with its retail companions to facilitate the exit of those merchandise from shops.
