Musk says Apple mostly stopped advertising on Twitter

Billionaire Elon Musk mentioned in a tweet on Monday that Apple has principally stopped promoting on Twitter.

Apple and Twitter didn’t instantly reply to requests for remark.

Earlier in November, Musk mentioned Twitter had seen a “massive” drop in income and blamed activist teams for pressuring advertisers.

Several firms together with General Mills and luxurious automaker Audi of America have paused promoting on Twitter since Musk accomplished his buy, whereas General Motors mentioned it had quickly halted paid promoting on the social media platform.

Apple spent an estimated $131,600 on Twitter adverts between Nov. 10 and Nov. 16, down from $220,800 between Oct. 16 and Oct. 22, the week earlier than Musk closed the Twitter acquisition, in response to advert measurement agency Pathmatics.
