London Drugs says customer data not compromised in cyberattack

London Drugs says there may be “no evidence of any customer databases being compromised,” following a reported cyberattack over the weekend.

Stores stay quickly closed for the fifth day in a row, whereas the retail chain says it’s continues to “work with leading third-party cybersecurity experts to bring operations back online.”

The launch says, “The impact of the [cyberattack] incident on operations has been significant, and the restoration process is rigorous,” explaining the corporate’s groups are reviewing billions of traces of code.

But, the corporate insisted there isn’t a proof that clients, pharmacy sufferers, and ‘LDExtras members’ have been affected by the assault.

“We are determining if we can reopen with partial services in order to take care of customers sooner, particularly our pharmacy customers,” mentioned Clint Mahlman, London Drugs president and COO, in a launch Thursday.

The chain restored its cellphone traces Thursday morning, pharmacists stay on-site in all retailer areas to help with emergency prescription wants, and Canada Post workplaces inside shops stay open.
