The firm behind the Trans Mountain pipeline growth says it has encountered technical points which may imply a delay within the venture’s completion.
In an announcement on its web site Monday, Trans Mountain Corp. says it wants extra time to find out the most secure and most prudent actions for minimizing additional delay.
It says the technical points had been found between Jan. 25 and Jan. 27.
Trans Mountain Corp. says it won’t present an interview.
The firm says it’s totally centered on working towards an anticipated in-service date within the second quarter of 2024.
The Trans Mountain pipeline growth, which is able to carry oil from Alberta to the West Coast, had been anticipated to be full by the tip of the primary quarter of 2024.
