The Nova Scotia authorities has introduced it’s investing $8 million in a bid to extend housing choices for post-secondary college students and ease stress on housing provide.

The Tartan Downs mission in Sydney, which is a partnership between Cape Breton University (CBU) and the Urban Neighborhood Development Association, will obtain $5 million.

Calls for elevated scholar housing provide in Nova Scotia


The remaining $3 million will go to the Atlantic School of Theology in Halifax to “preserve and maintain” housing that’s utilized by college students from Dalhousie University, Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, Saint Mary’s University, University of King’s College and Nova Scotia Community College.

“The work includes repairs to the brickwork, new plumbing, Wi-Fi system updates and upgrades to the shared kitchen and bathroom facilities. The number of beds will also increase to 97 from 65,” a launch from the province famous.

The province says it has been working to extend the availability of reasonably priced housing for college students, and is at present growing a scholar housing technique.
