Kingston, Ont. Jewish community celebrates the beginning of Hanukkah – Kingston | 24CA News
Hanukkah started on Sunday, and in Kingston, a celebration was held at Springer Market sq. to mark the event.
The Kingston Jewish Council invited residents of the town to “light up the night” with a conventional candle lighting of the menorah and meals equivalent to potato latkes together with sizzling chocolate.
For every of the eight days of Hanukkah, households will mild a candle on the menorah.
