1 dead following rollover on ‘icy’ highway: Manitoba RCMP – Winnipeg | 24CA News

One individual is useless and one other injured after a semi-trailer slid right into a ditch on a Manitoba freeway.

Officers with the Falcon Beach RCMP detachment have been referred to as to a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 1, on Dec. 10 at 6 a.m. The incident, they stated, occurred roughly eight kilometres east of Falcon Lake.

According to police, an eastbound semi-trailer had misplaced management on the freeway and slid right into a ditch, the place it rolled over. Road circumstances are stated to have been icy on the time.

A 54-year-old male driver of the automobile, from Surrey, was pronounced useless on the scene. Officers stated he wasn’t carrying a seatbelt.

The 22-year-old male passenger suffered minor accidents.
