Energy Minister Jonathan Wilkinson says Canada must “get with the program” and transfer sooner to develop into a renewable power powerhouse, as a brand new worldwide power outlook forecasts demand for all fossil fuels will peak in seven years.

The International Energy Agency annual outlook revealed Tuesday says that even when no new climate-related insurance policies are carried out, those that exist are nonetheless sufficient to convey demand for oil, fuel and coal to a peak by 2030.
