Jewish group says Ottawa woman killed in Israel | CityNews Calgary

The Jewish Federation of Ottawa says a Canadian citizen, Adi Vital-Kaploun, was killed by Hamas militants in Israel.

The group’s CEO, Andrea Freedman, says Vital-Kaploun was killed at her kibbutz close to the Israeli border with the Gaza Strip, however shouldn’t be sharing particulars about how she died.

In an announcement given on behalf of Vital-Kaploun’s household in the present day, Freedman says the lady has a big prolonged household within the space.

Ottawa Mayor Mark Sutcliffe mentioned earlier in the present day that he had spoken with a member of the family of somebody who was killed in Israel and that his ideas had been with all of the victims and households in Ottawa which were affected.

Friends and household have confirmed to The Canadian Press the deaths of two different Canadians: 22-year-old Ben Mizrachi from Vancouver and 33-year-old Alexandre Look from Montreal, who died when gunmen swarmed a music pageant in southern Israel. 

At least 2,300 individuals have been killed to this point in a battle that started after Hamas carried out brazen assaults in Israel on Saturday.
