Critics of Ukraine’s counteroffensive should ‘shut up,’ Kuleba says – National | 24CA News
Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba hit out on Thursday at critics of Kyiv’s techniques in its counteroffensive towards Russia’s invasion, saying they had been spitting within the faces of Ukrainian troopers and may “shut up.”
“Criticizing the slow pace of (the) counter-offensive equals … spitting into the face of (the) Ukrainian soldier who sacrifices his life every day, moving forward and liberating one kilometre of Ukrainian soil after another,” Kuleba advised reporters at a gathering of EU international ministers in Toledo, Spain.
The New York Times final week quoted U.S. and different western officers as saying that the offensive had made restricted progress as a result of Ukraine had too many troops within the fallacious locations.
“I would recommend all critics to shut up, come to Ukraine and try to liberate one square centimetre by themselves,” Kuleba mentioned, standing alongside Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares.
