A 29-year-old man is in vital situation after he was struck by a car whereas he was strolling in Montreal’s east finish late Wednesday.
Montreal police say a 911 name was made round 11 p.m., alerting authorities to the crash within the Mercier–Hochelaga-Maisonneuve borough.
The pedestrian was hit by a driver heading eastbound on Hochelaga Street close to Aird Avenue, in response to police.
The man was taken to hospital. His situation stays vital as of Thursday morning.
The driver, 27, was not severely injured within the incident.
