Public Safety Minister Dominic LeBlanc says the prime minister will quickly obtain his report outlining the response to suggestions from a public inquiry into using the Emergencies Act.
Justice Paul Rouleau concluded in February that the Liberal authorities met the brink to invoke the Emergencies Act to assist quell weeks-long “Freedom Convoy” protests over COVID-19 restrictions.
