In a media launch Sunday, police stated a person recovered the physique at about 10 a.m. on Saturday.
Aldéric and Léandre Thibodeau, aged 75 and 82, had been final seen on Aug. 7 round 1 p.m. on the wharf on Robertson Brook Road in Brantville.
The id of the recovered physique hasn’t been recognized by police however is confirmed to be one of many two lacking males. The different man is but to be discovered.
“Police are asking the public to avoid the Neguac Wharf as they continue their investigation and are asking boaters in the Portage Island area to slow down and to be cautious of divers who are assisting with the search,” police stated.
On Aug. 8, members of the Tracadie Fire Department and the New Brunswick Coast Guard positioned an overturned boat within the space, which matched the outline of the boat that the 2 males had been stated to be travelling in.
