KBO slugger Lee expected to be posted despite injury (report)

NEW YORK — Korean baseball star Jung Hoo Lee remains to be anticipated to signal with a Major League Baseball membership this winter, regardless of a fractured left ankle that would finish his season with the Kiwoom Heroes of the KBO League.

The Heroes introduced in January that Lee could be posted for MLB golf equipment after the 2023 season; neither the membership nor Lee has indicated that the ankle surgical procedure will alter these plans, in response to reporter Jeeho Yoo of the Yonhap News Agency.

Lee, who turns 25 this month, is a middle fielder identified for his elite contact hitting.

“Great player,” praised Mets left-hander Brooks Raley, who confronted Lee throughout his personal KBO tenure. “His hand-eye coordination is amazing, and his power has really come along. Earlier this year, I saw a highlight of him hitting a home run to the opposite field. That said a lot to me about how much stronger he’s become.”

Lee was named the KBO League MVP final 12 months. He batted .429 in 4 video games for Team Korea on the 2023 World Baseball Classic, then posted an .863 OPS in 85 video games for the Heroes in the course of the present season.

The Boras Corporation introduced by way of Instagram in late January that the company is representing Lee.
