A person was arrested in Saskatoon on Wednesday after police say he impersonated a peace officer on two separate events.
On Friday, Saskatoon police have been known as to a lodge within the 600 block of Spadina Crescent East after somebody was reported to be impersonating an officer.
Officers discovered {that a} man posing as a police officer approached a lady and youngster and accused the lady of abduction. The girl walked right into a lodge on the lookout for assist and bystanders intervened, with the person fleeing on foot.
On Tuesday, police discovered of the same incident that occurred on Monday within the 70 block of Campus Drive. A person posing as an officer approached a lady and provided to escort her via the realm. She declined and the person left.
Through video proof, police say they recognized the person and arrested him within the 200 block of fifth Avenue North.
Officers say the 32-year-old Redvers, Sask. man has been charged with two counts of impersonating a peace officer, prison harassment, and two counts of failing to adjust to court-imposed circumstances.
