Search continues for Hamilton teen who disappeared into Lake Ontario – Hamilton | 24CA News
Hamilton police say there’s nonetheless no signal of a teenage boy who went lacking within the waters of Lake Ontario over the weekend.
As of Monday morning, a police spokesperson stated “emergency partners” had been nonetheless looking for the 14-year-old who’s believed to have gone lacking into tough waters close to Woodland Avenue and Beach Boulevard round 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Investigators say a gaggle of youths had been in an inflatable raft on the lake when the teenager went beneath the water.
The search group contains Hamilton police, hearth, OPP, a Hamilton Beach Rescue Unit and the Coast Guard.
The Coast Guard Auxiliary groups from Oakville and Hamilton joined the search on Saturday together with an OPP helicopter and different search plane from the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre at CFB Trenton.
