The junior boys’ and ladies’ nationwide soccer championships will likely be held in September, with 16 groups taking part in each competitions.

According to a launch issued by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Tuesday, the tier 1 of the junior boys’ nationwide championship for the Dr BC Roy Trophy and the junior ladies’ nationwide championship will likely be held in Bhubaneswar.

The 16 groups will likely be divided into 4 teams in Tier 1, with the group winners progressing to the semi-finals. The boys’ occasion will likely be held from September 5 to fifteen, whereas the ladies’ will kick off on September 20, and the ultimate will happen on September 30.

The 2023-24 version will mark the return of the BC Roy Trophy for the primary time because the pre-COVID 2019-20 event, which noticed Mizoram clinch their second successive title after a 5-4 penalty shoot-out victory over Punjab in Shillong.

Dadra and Nagar Haveli emerged champions of the earlier version of the junior ladies’ competitors in 2022-23, edging Bihar 1-0 within the closing in Guwahati.
