A six-year-old woman has died after she was hit by a automobile when she instantly bumped into the roadway whereas strolling along with her mom in Toronto final week, police say.
Toronto police stated emergency crews responded to the collision within the High Park Avenue and Dundas Street West space simply earlier than 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Police stated a white Honda CRV was heading west on Dundas Street close to High Park Avenue when the kid was strolling along with her mom on the north sidewalk on Dundas, approaching High Park Avenue.
The woman “suddenly ran into the roadway” and was struck by the automobile, police stated.
She was taken to hospital with life-threatening accidents and in an replace on Monday, police stated she has since died.
The driver remained on the scene.
“Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragic event, but do not expect any charges to be laid,” officers stated.
