The All India Football Federation (AIFF) introduced the winners of its annual awards after the manager committee assembly on Tuesday.
Blue Tigers winger Lallianzuala Chhangte, an integral member of the Indian group on the SAFF Championship, has been adjudged the lads’s senior participant of the 12 months, as Manisha Kalyan, who performs for Apollon in Cyprus, has been feted with the ladies’s participant of the 12 months accolade.
Akash Mishra, 21, and Shilji Shaji, 16, have been accorded the Emerging Player of the Year awards in males’s and girls’s classes.
Meanwhile, Clifford Miranda, who guided Odisha FC to Super Cup triumph, has been named males’s Coach of the Year. Priya PV, the pinnacle coach of the India U-17 ladies’s group and an assistant with the senior ladies’s group, has received the ladies’s coach of the 12 months honour.
