B.C. man who opened store selling tested hard drugs dies of overdose: family – BC | 24CA News
The man who was arrested for beginning a cell laborious medication retailer on the Downtown Eastside has died of an overdose, in accordance with a publish from household.
Jerry Martin’s brother shared a publish on-line saying his 51-year-old brother died instantly and fentanyl was present in his system.
Martin’s brother Thomas remembers him as a tremendous man and brother who had an important giggle.
“Most of all was his calmness, when he hugged and I miss his eyes when he smiled,” Thomas shared in a Facebook publish Saturday.

Back in May, Martin was arrested for establishing “The Drugs Strore” the place he was promoting cocaine, heroin, methamphetamine and MDMA.
Martin stated the medication had been all examined for fentanyl at Get Your Drugs Tested, a hurt discount facility that Vancouver Coastal Health directs customers to.
He says he was compelled to behave as soon as the province decriminalized the pocession of small portions of illicit medication.
“They knew that if they didn’t provide a safe supply and let the entire province be allowed to have these drugs, it was just going to get them from the same tainted supply and it was going to be nothing but trouble,” Martin Told Global News again in May.
“So they’ve left it up to people like me to step in and do that until they’ve decided they can do it.”
He says getting arrested was the entire level with a view to construct assist and lift funds for a Charter problem to attempt to legalize medication.
