Two impaired drivers in Lethbridge removed from the road, dozens of tickets issued – Lethbridge | 24CA News
Members of the Traffic Response Unit say they plan to maintain a excessive profile this summer season, to discourage and implement driving violations in Lethbridge.
Over the weekend, the Lethbridge Police Service and Alberta Sheriffs charged two impaired drivers and gave out 54 tickets throughout a weekend site visitors enforcement mission.
Police mentioned the purpose is to supply safer roads for all customers by focusing on impaired driving, dashing, extreme car noise, racing and stunting.
This enforcement initiative was prompted by members of the general public reporting issues about unlawful actions in areas all through the town.
According to police, an identical initiative that occurred all through the summer season of 2022 resulted in a lower in site visitors complaints.
Anyone with issues about site visitors points is requested to contact Lethbridge police.
