Blue Jays reliever Yimi Garcia leaves game with right knee injury
Toronto Blue Jays right-handed pitcher Yimi Garcia was lifted early from his aid look Saturday towards the Oakland Athletics as a result of discomfort in his proper knee.
Blue Jays supervisor John Schneider stated after the 7-3 win that Garcia will likely be evaluated Sunday. Although Schneider described it as a nagging harm, he doesn’t count on Garcia to land on the injured reserve.
