MONTREAL — Smog warnings are in impact for a lot of components of Quebec on Sunday as heavy smoke from wildfires blankets many areas of the province.

Montreal, Quebec City, Laval, Longueuil and Trois-Rivières are among the many cities beneath air high quality warning as a result of smoke from the greater than 110 wildfires that proceed to burn throughout Quebec.

Environment Canada says the smog will possible proceed till Monday morning, including the danger is highest for individuals with lung or coronary heart illness, aged individuals, kids, pregnant girls and those that work open air.

Meanwhile, the 7,500 residents of the northern Quebec municipality of Chibougamau have been warned they could must evacuate their properties for a second time this month as two out-of-control wildfires acquire floor.
