YVR delays due to ‘constraints experienced in air navigation system’ | 24CA News
Passengers at Vancouver International Airport are experiencing delays for each home and worldwide flights on Saturday.
The airport mentioned the delays are because of “constraints being experienced in the air navigation system.”
“We are working with our partners at NAV Canada and the airlines to get you on your way as safely and as quickly as possible,” an airport spokesperson mentioned in an e-mail.
“Please check the status of your flight before coming to the airport. Our guest experience and green coat volunteers are on-site to assist.”

At this time, it’s unclear what number of flights are being impacted, however a fast have a look at YVR’s departure and arrivals webpages reveals many flights are being delayed.
A passenger in Kelowna instructed Global News they needed to disembark from their flight due to points in Vancouver.
Global News has requested YVR if there’s a timeline for flights to renew as scheduled.
