A former lodge in Guelph can be transformed into short-term pupil housing, the town has allowed.
The metropolis’s committee of adjustment gave their approval to a minor variance software on Thursday.
The transfer will enable the University of Guelph to lease the Days Inn lodge on Gordon Street and use it as a pupil residence beginning Aug. 1.
The constructing consists of two flooring with 86 rooms and parking for 98 automobiles.
