MONTREAL – Red Bull’s Max Verstappen led from begin to end and cruised to victory on the Canadian Grand Prix for a second 12 months in a row on Sunday.
The two-time reigning world champion held off the competitors over 70 laps at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve.

Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso and Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes positioned second and third to spherical out the rostrum.
Verstappen has gained 4 races in a row and 6 of eight total this season.
The 25-year-old Dutch driver now leads the Formula One drivers’ standings with 195 factors. Teammate Sergio Perez got here in sixth on Sunday and missed the rostrum for a 3rd straight race.
It’s the forty first win of Verstappen’s profession, placing him in a tie with the late Brazilian nice Ayrton Senna for fifth all-time.
