Paycheque missing? TD Bank ‘aware of’ issue with direct deposits

One of Canada’s largest banks says it is “been made aware of” a problem with direct deposits Friday.

TD Canada confirmed the problem in response to a message on Twitter asking why a paycheque hadn’t but made it to a buyer’s checking account.

The financial institution mentioned it has “escalated” the problem and it’s being investigated. It didn’t present additional data, together with when the issue could be mounted.

“We appreciate your patience,” a spokesperson posted.
