2 dead after marine incident near Bayfield, Ont. – London | 24CA News
OPP say two persons are lifeless after a marine incident close to Bayfield, Ont.
Police say emergency crews responded round 2:20 p.m. Saturday to a boater in misery.
Crews introduced the boater to shore and carried out life-saving measures. However, a 32-year-old from Bluewater was pronounced lifeless on the scene.
While helping with the emergency, a 46-year-old volunteer from Bluewater skilled a medical emergency themselves and was rushed to hospital the place they have been later pronounced lifeless.
Police say the causes of those two deaths have but to be decided, however autopsy exams have been scheduled.
