Jim Carr, Winnipeg MP and former Liberal cabinet minister, dies at 71  | 24CA News

Jim Carr, a Liberal MP from Winnipeg and former cupboard minister, has died.

The 71-year-old’s demise was introduced within the House of Commons on Monday by Winnipeg North MP Kevin Lamoureux, who requested the House for a second of silence earlier than query interval. The sitting was suspended after the announcement.
