Assiniboine Park announces lineup for free Summer Entertainment Series – Winnipeg | 24CA News
Assiniboine Park has introduced its annual slate of stay summer season leisure, which incorporates stay music and film screenings on the Lyric Theatre, jazz within the Leo Mol Sculpture Garden, backyard live shows outdoors The Leaf and rather more.
The park’s Summer Entertainment Series runs from June by August and is free for all guests.
“We are so excited to host an incredible line up of entertainment in the Park this summer,” Sara Wolowich Brown of the Assiniboine Park Conservancy stated in a launch.
“It has become an annual tradition for thousands of locals and a wonderful experience we can share with tourists.”
The sequence contains perennial favourites just like the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra and Royal Winnipeg Ballet, in addition to headlining performances on the Lyric stage by native artists together with Indian City, Marco Castillo and Brazilian Beats, Claire Therese and the Lockdown, the Stanley County Cutups and a yet-to-be-announced shock artist to shut out the season Aug. 31.
Intimate backyard live shows are again at The Leaf, that includes performers corresponding to Ila Barker, Brett Schulz and Onna Lou, and jazz aficionados can take a look at Erin Propp, Sean Irvine and extra on the sculpture gardens.
Also returning: the favored Wellness Wednesdays, that includes yoga, Zumba and mobility courses, in addition to giant celebrations in recognition of each Indigenous Peoples’ Day and Canada Day.
