Toronto Blue Jays catcher Danny Jansen will not be within the beginning lineup for Thursday’s sequence finale towards the Tampa Bay Rays after exiting Wednesday’s sport with left groin tightness.

Jansen was pulled Wednesday within the backside of the fifth after he grounded out in his final at-bat and sprinted to first.

The group has not made a roster transfer, although Sportsnet’s Shi Davidi experiences triple-A catcher Tyler Heineman has a locker within the Blue Jays’ clubhouse and is on the taxi squad. Alejandro Kirk will begin at catcher.
