Whitecaps’ Ali Ahmed cleared to travel with team after leaving hospital
LANGFORD, B.C. – Vancouver Whitecaps participant Ali Ahmed left the Canadian Championship semifinal towards Pacific FC on a stretcher within the first half.
The Whitecaps posted to social media that Ahmed was aware and was cleared to journey with the workforce again to Vancouver.
Ahmed suffered a concussion with a momentary lack of consciousness. He regained consciousness and was transported to the Victoria General Hospital ER. He acquired a full analysis on the hospital, together with a CT scan, which returned at regular ranges.
