Saskatoon cyclist dies after being hit by cement truck – Saskatoon | 24CA News

Roads are closed in Saskatoon the place a 33-year-old girl died after being hit by a cement truck whereas using her bike.

The crash occurred on the intersection of College Drive and Wiggins Avenue close to the University of Saskatchewan.

Saskatoon cops have site visitors restrictions in place whereas they examine the scene.

  • Eastbound site visitors on University Bridge is being diverted southbound onto Clarence Avenue.
  • Preston Avenue is barricaded, stopping westbound site visitors onto College Drive.
  • Access to College Drive from University Drive, Munroe Avenue, Wiggins Avenue/Road, Bottomley Avenue, and Cumberland Avenue.

Police will replace the general public when the restrictions are lifted.
