Statistics Canada says manufacturing sales rose 0.7 per cent in March
Statistics Canada says manufacturing gross sales rose 0.7 per cent to $72.3 billion in March, boosted by good points within the motorized vehicle, aerospace product and elements, and first steel industries.
The improve adopted a drop of three.6 per cent in February.
The company says motorized vehicle gross sales gained 8.6 per cent to return in at $4.7 billion in March after a drop of 11.8 per cent in February.
The aerospace product and elements sector rose 18.8 per cent to $2.1 billion in March, the best stage since March 2020, whereas gross sales of main metals elevated 4.6 per cent to $6.0 billion in March on larger costs and quantity.
Sales within the petroleum and coal product business fell 2.0 per cent on decrease costs.
Statistics Canada says manufacturing gross sales in fixed {dollars} rose 1.1 per cent in March, indicating {that a} larger quantity of products was bought within the month.
