Rasmussen to 60-day IL with flexor strain

The Rays positioned right-handed pitcher Drew Rasmussen on the 60-day injured record with a flexor pressure in his proper elbow on Friday. 

The news comes a day after Rasmussen continued his dominance in opposition to the Yankees, tossing seven scoreless innings in an 8-2 Tampa Bay victory at Yankee Stadium. In a corresponding transfer, the membership chosen right-hander Chris Muller from Triple-A Durham.
