Jays Care Foundation finds April 50/50 $2.8M prize winner

The Jays Care Foundation discovered the winner of Amazing April’s 50/50 Jackpot grand prize.

Identified by the workforce solely as “Deb” from the Hamilton, Ont., area, “a self-described huge Blue Jays fan” claimed the life-changing $2.8 million prize, it was introduced on Tuesday.

Founded in 1992, Jays Care Foundation is a public fundraising group that promotes baseball to show youngsters important abilities similar to teamwork, management and resiliency.

The basis’s intention is to create “a level playing field for all children and youth across Canada.”

During final season’s Super September jackpot, one fan walked away with a grand prize of greater than $3.9 million, the biggest jackpot complete in MLB historical past.
