A landslide within the West Kootenay neighborhood of Vallican, B.C. has prompted the Regional District of Central Kootenay’s Emergency Operations Centre to problem evacuation orders and alerts for properties within the space.
Residents of three properties on Little Slocan South Road have been ordered to go away their properties instantly.
Emergency assist providers are being offered for the evacuees.
An evacuation alert has been issued for an additional 5 properties on Little Slocan South Road, which means residents have to be ready to go away with little to no discover.
