Not every airline can succeed in Canada’s crowded market: Flair CEO

CALGARY –

The CEO of Flair Airlines says there is not room within the Canadian marketplace for all the carriers jockeying for place in a crowded area proper now.

Stephen Jones made the feedback at an occasion in Calgary marking the institution of a brand new base at Calgary International Airport.

The previous few years have seen a surge of latest Canadian airways, together with Flair, Lynx and Canada Jetlines, whereas established carriers akin to Porter Airlines are increasing aggressively.

Jones says not all of those airways can succeed and develop.

He says he thinks going ahead Air Canada will dominate the upper finish of the market, and he believes Flair is poised to seize the low-budget, low cost house.

He says he thinks airways aiming for the center of the market, akin to WestJet, will face a problem defining their worth proposition.
