The Canadian Mental Health Association Waterloo Wellington is marking the event with a marketing campaign referred to as My Story.
According to a news launch, the 2023 marketing campaign can be encouraging folks to talk about lived experiences and share their very own psychological well being journeys.
This is the 72nd annual Mental Health Week in Canada, a ‘social change’ marketing campaign specializing in educating the general public about perceptions surrounding psychological well being.
The CMHA WW says greater than 3,150 individuals are searching for or ready for psychological well being companies.
They say mounting psychological well being wants are straining health-care methods and two out of three can’t get the assistance they want attributable to value, wait instances, location, or lack of equitable entry.
The CMHA WW is holding a digital occasion referred to as Mental Health Week 2023: Caregiver Well-being on Wednesday between 6:30 p.m. and eight p.m.
Mental Health Week runs from May 1-7.
