CHICAGO – Prior to Wednesday’s sport vs. San Francisco, the Chicago White Sox positioned outfielder Eloy Jiménez on the 10-day injured checklist (retroactive to Tuesday) with a low-grade left hamstring pressure and recalled infielder Jake Burger from Triple-A Charlotte.

Jiménez, 26, is estimated to overlook 2-3 weeks after struggling the harm working the bases within the seventh inning of Monday’s house opener vs. the Giants. He is hitting .200 with two doubles and three RBIs in 5 video games this season.
