Rendon suspended 5 games, fined following fan incident
Los Angeles Angels third baseman Anthony Rendon has obtained a five-game suspension and an undisclosed effective for his actions involving a fan final Thursday, when his Club performed the Oakland Athletics. Michael Hill, Major League Baseball’s Senior Vice President for On-Field Operations, made the announcement.
Unless appealed, the suspension of Rendon is scheduled to start tonight, when the Angels open a street sequence vs. the Seattle Mariners at T-Mobile Park. If Rendon elects to enchantment, then the self-discipline will likely be held in abeyance till the method is full.
