ANGERS, France (AP) — Angers president Said Chabane has stepped right down to make approach for his son on the helm of the struggling French league membership.

Angers mentioned in a press release Wednesday that Chabane, who’s going through sexual assault accusations, resigned on March 21 to supply his place to Romain Chabane.

With 10 matches left to play this season, Angers is in final place within the league standings and is predicted to be relegated to the second division.

It has been a rocky month for Angers after coach Abdel Bouhazama additionally resigned after he appeared to downplay sexual harassment.
