Golden State Warriors ahead Draymond Green was suspended one recreation with out pay by the NBA on Thursday after being whistled for his sixteenth technical foul of the season.

Green, a four-time NBA champion with the Warriors, obtained his most up-to-date technical foul with 40 seconds remaining within the second quarter of Golden State’s 134-126 highway loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday.

Under NBA guidelines, a participant or coach who receives a sixteenth technical foul through the common season is robotically banned for one recreation.

For each two extra technical fouls obtained the rest of the season, Green faces being suspended for an additional recreation.

Green, a 33-year-old American identified for bodily play, will serve his ban on Friday when the defending NBA champion Warriors go to Atlanta.

In his eleventh NBA season, all spent with Golden State, Green is averaging 8.3 factors, 7.3 rebounds and 6.8 assists per contest.

The Warriors are 36-34 this season to rank sixth within the Western Conference.
