McCain Foods says it can spend $600 million to double the scale of its potato processing facility in southern Alberta.
The Toronto-based meals manufacturing firm says the venture at its Coaldale facility close to Lethbridge would be the largest funding within the firm’s historical past.
It says the venture will create two new manufacturing strains and create 260 new jobs, greater than doubling the power’s present workforce.
