Search and rescue crews say a aircraft with two folks on board that went lacking earlier this week in a distant space of northern Ontario has been discovered with each occupants lifeless.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Trenton, Ont., mentioned Saturday night that the seek for the Cessna 208, which went lacking on Tuesday, had ended because the aircraft had been discovered.
They say each folks, who haven’t been recognized, had been discovered lifeless on scene.
The aircraft went lacking between Nakina and Fort Hope and the centre says it was discovered simply south of Chaucer Lake, northeast of Thunder Bay, at about 11:30 a.m. Saturday.
It says the Ontario Provincial Police and Transport Canada have each been knowledgeable and the Transportation Safety Board will likely be investigating the reason for the crash.
JRCC Trenton spokesman Maj. Trevor Reid mentioned on Wednesday that army and police planes and helicopters, in addition to civilian plane, had been being deployed alongside the Cessna’s flight route as a part of search efforts.
