Rare ‘thundersnow’ is a once-a-year event, says senior climatologist

It’s the newest in a latest rash of winter storms to torment southern Ontario after final week’s ice storm knocked out energy to hundreds of individuals and was adopted up by a messy mixture of snow and ice pellets earlier this week.
