Blue Jays add ex-Astros GM Click to front office

The Toronto Blue Jays immediately announce that James Click has been employed as Vice President, Baseball Strategy. 

In this position, Click will be part of the Baseball Operations management staff, working intently with General Manager Ross Atkins and division heads on strategic planning, choice making, and analysis. He will work throughout each skilled and newbie ranges to establish greatest practices, develop plans, and implement methods.

Click joins the membership after three seasons as General Manager of the Houston Astros, the place he led the staff to a World Series Championship in 2022. He beforehand spent 15 years with the Tampa Bay Rays and was appointed the staff’s Vice President of Baseball Operations in 2017. Click graduated from Yale University in 2000.
