Report: Padres, Manny Machado finalizing 11-year, $350 million contract extension
The San Diego Padres and Manny Machado are finalizing an 11-year, $350 million contract extension, ESPN’s Jeff Passan stories.

Machado made it recognized that he was going to decide out of his contract on the finish of the 2023 season. The 30-year-old is ready to make $30 million this season.
The Padres initially signed the all-star infielder to a 10-year, $300 million deal again in 2019.
Machado slashed .298/.366/.531 with 32 homer runs and 102 RBI in 150 video games final season. Since joiining the Padres, Machado has hit 108 dwelling runs, pushed in 340 runs, and stolen 32 bases.
In 11 MLB seasons with San Diego, the Baltimore Orioles, and Los Angeles Dodgers, Machado has 283 homers, 853 RBI, 839 runs scored, and 85 steals.
