A Kelowna man is rejoicing in a win that got here courtesy of an impulse resolution.
It was through the Super Bowl recreation that the Kansas City Chiefs received that Kelowna resident Wesley Heppner additionally scored a giant win.
Heppner was at a Super Bowl get together when he selected the fly to buy a BC 50/50 ticket — a call that was price a cool $85,204.50, in keeping with the BC Lotto Corporation.
“A friend said he had (bought) some 50/50 tickets so during the half time I ran to the store to pick up a few as well,” he stated in a press launch.
The ticket was bought from the Otter Co-op on Main Street in Kelowna and Heppner was at residence when he came upon he had received.
Heppner plans to improve his truck with a few of his winnings and stated “it feels really good” to be a winner.
